A graduate of The George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs, Alex serves as Melwood’s Social Media Strategist overseeing social media outreach for international development and transportation clients, including USAID Global Development Lab’s Securing Water for Food (SWFF) and Pathfinder International. He creates and runs advertisements for clients using graphic design, website design and social media ad tools. Prior to joining Melwood, he worked as Contributing Editor the Center for International Relations-The International Affairs Forum and as a Research Assistant for the Middle East Institute, the oldest organization in Washington D.C. dedicated to Middle East – American bilateral relations.
Alex’s studies include 3 years of Arabic at the George Washington University and the University of Chicago, as well as field research in Morocco on Middle East youth, employment, and domestic stability. Alex is published by the Middle East Institute on the topic of countering violent extreamism in Afghanistan.
